She held him tight in her arms, but all he wanted was to leave. I personally related to this work as I watched the child wanting to break free from the clutches of her own mother, much like I wanted to leave my mother and my then girlfriend to start a new chapter of my life in Mumbai.
“Don’t Let Go” was titled when I was going through a low point, as my mind was divided between wanting to stay and dreaming to go.
